Vierailimme Hallituspaikka 2022 tapahtumassa poimimassa innostavia ideoita hallitustyöhön ja verkottumassa hallitustyön parissa työskentelevien asiantuntijoiden kanssa. Kirsi Piha nosti esiin, että strategiaprosessi voidaan tehdä yhdessä koko henkilöstön kanssa, jolloin se johtaisi myös strategian tehokkaampaan implementointiin. Lisäksi Kirsi nosti esiin Googlen tutkimuksen, jonka mukaan tiimin psykologisella turvallisuudella on yhteys tiimin tehokkuuteen. Matti Alahuhta toi esiin eteenpäin suuntautuvan hallitustyön näkökulmaa ja esimerkiksi yrityksen etenemisen seurannan merkityksen hallitustyössä talouden, markkinoiden, markkina-aseman, geopoliittisen kehityksen ja asiakastyytyväisyyden sekä henkilöstötyytyväisyyden kannalta.
Eräs tärkeä osa tapahtumaa oli myös saman asian äärellä olevien ihmisten tapaaminen ja hallitustyön teemoista käydyt keskustelut kahvien ja kuohujuomien äärellä.

We visited the Hallituspaikka 2022 (The Board Seat 2022) event to pick up inspiring ideas for board work and to network with experts working in board work. Kirsi Piha pointed out that the strategy process can be done together with the entire staff, in which case it would also lead to a more effective implementation of the strategy. In addition, Kirsi highlighted Google's research, according to which the team's psychological safety is connected to the team's effectiveness. Matti Alahuhta emphasized the perspective of forward-looking board work and, for example, the importance of monitoring the company's progress in board work in terms of the economy, markets, market position, geopolitical development and customer and personnel satisfaction.
An important part of the event was also the meeting of people with the same issue and the discussions about the themes of board work over coffee and sparkling drinks.
